Snaefellsnes Peninsula Private Day Tour This tour is special. It’s a long tour, up to 14 hours. We take a drive north from Reykjavik, crossing the fjord Hvalfjörður heading towards Snæfellsnes peninsula. We usually make our first stop after a 90 minute drive at Gerðuberg basalt column cliffs. After that depends on what your guide will have put together with you. The beautiful seaside town of Stykkishólmur, the stunning pebble beach at Djúpalón, the crevice Rauðfeldsgjá, fermented shark meat tasting, Arctic tern sighting, epic viewoints at the roots of Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano are among our favorite stops.
